Howdy, so I go ZBrush and I've made a few models, I want to pose them and possibly make some movies, how does poser work for ya? Is it user friendly? Easy to use? Is it good for making movies? OR is it possible to acomplesh what you did here (and in your other art) with no other programs besides ZBrush and Photoshop?
well it all depends on what it is you want to do.. zbrush can be used for making animation, but its mainly a sculpting program, so its mainly used for that.. zbrush does have a rigging system and you can setup a lighting for your scene, but its not as impressive as what you can do in a complete 3d package like 3ds max or maya.. poser can be seen as a simplified version of these 3d packages.. only difference is that poser isnt made for creating content, but rigging a model and setting up a scene is pretty simple if you have to props ready..
well you have to rig the character then in maya, but yeah, after that the character can be posed.. again clothing reacts depending on how you set it up.. if its part of the character then you can rig it directly on the bone structure of the character.. if its a separate prop you can use nCloth in maya to create a cloth simulation.. im not a maya user but i have seen some really awesome results done with clothing made in maya..
