There was a chinese female assassin in Assassin's Creed Embers, a short animation film. She was really cool and even had hidden blades in the tip of her shoes ! Though she lacked the experience Ezio had.
Since your react this way, I guess you didn't know about this character. She is pretty cool, actually. It made me want to see what the game would be if it was set in feodal China ! Too bad it's still has'nt been done yet...
Maybe add some more geometry to the hair? Once you have more volume in the hair, drop it with MassFX. I would also light up the face a bit more. Maybe pull the hood back just a little to cast more light on the face. Its a beautiful face and I would show it off more.
thank you very much for the feedback.. i dont really think adding more geometry is going to make the hair look better.. its already a high poly mesh, so adding more wont do anything but only make the calculation of the movement for the hair a lot heavier.. i never used MassFX tho.. is it any good for nice effect on hair too ? as for the showing the face, i thought keeping it more in the style of assassin creed games.. so not really showing the eyes when the hood is up.. i got lots of render with her im showing her complete face already
Haha ok good! you must show off her face, specially her mouth or the good work is lost. By adding more geometry to the hair will give her more volume. (your mind will subliminally relate to good looking female models that have lots of volume to their hair.) Thin hair sometimes makes them look sick. Did you model the hair use the Grass material in Max? (because then i can understand why it will become heavy) Maybe play around with making hair on planes and see how it comes out. Reason i say Poly Planes is that it is alot easier to render and your AO doesn't go crazy. As for MassFX, just play with the settings and you'll get your hair closer to the model. I'm not saying you must change anything, just saying how you could tighten up your design. (take with a pinch of salt).
hehe.. well thats how i did the hair here now.. its a couple of planes with a hair texture on it.. so i basically already doing what you are suggestion.. i really gotta try that massfx thing tho..sounds like a lot of fun.. then again hair is always a pain to get right in 3d..
lol.. she doesnt have any gadgets in this one at all.. its just the outfit.. its way its called assassin wannabe too.. in the next deviation you see she has a wrist blade too.. i want to give her some throwing knifes and a some sort of blade too.. the outfit itself also still needs more details..
hehe.. well, there are no weapons at all in this one.. so its why she is still a wannabe too.. i got a wrist blade finished now.. and it has a working blade too.. now i gotta figure out how to show off the wrist blade..
